Welcome to the "Do It
Yourself" LCD Projector area!
The easiest DIY Projector
to build is a standard Overhead Projector with an older LCD Projection Panel.
You can find both items on Ebay. You
should be able to get a
panel and projector for less then a $100 if you wait long enough. The more advanced builders will
design an LCD projector from scratch. This usually involves buying a huge
light bulb and mounting it in a wooden box with focusing lenses and a
standard LCD Panel of some kind.
I'm currently at the LCD Projector Panel on the Overhead
Projector phase. If I decide to build something, I'll add that to this
site. For now... I've gathered up some information on the two panels
I've tried so far. They each have their own page.
