When the Atari Lynx was
first introduced I developed the Softcase System for transporting the Lynx and it's
accessories. It was comprised of 3 case modules and a game card wallet. Only
100 of the case modules were ever made. Because of the final cost and release of
Atari's case I decided against a large production run. Only the game card wallet was
produced in larger quantities.
Now some years
later I've decided to make the remaining stock of cases available to Lynx collectors.
There are 8 complete systems left (2 without straps). For ordering information

Each System Contains

Lynx Module (
approx: 11" x 4.75" x 2.25" ):
This module is designed to hold a single Lynx and Game
Card Wallet. The snaps on this module allow the attachment of other Lynx Modules,
Accessory Modules or Shoulder Straps. This design allows multiple Lynx's to be
carried with a single shoulder strap or a single Lynx to be carried without the Accessory
module. It has a Dupont Cordura water resistant exterior, foam backed soft headliner
interior, a heavy Nylon webbing that forms a carrying handle, easy release plastic snaps
and plastic zipper with dual metal pulls.

Accessory Module (
approx: 11" x 4.5" x 2.75" ):
This module is designed to hold any Lynx Accessories.
It has elastic bands at each end to help secure up to two AC Adapters. It
also holds other items such as the D-Cell battery pack, extra batteries or even candy
bars. It has a Dupont Cordura water resistant exterior, foam backed soft headliner
interior, a heavy Nylon webbing that forms a carrying handle, easy release plastic snaps
and plastic zipper with dual metal pulls.

Game Wallet (
approx: 12.5" x 8.5" or 12.5" x 3.5" x .75" folded ):
This module is designed to hold 9 Games single stacked or 18
games double stacked. It's about the size of a piece of paper and folds like a
letter. There are 3 rows of 3 clear pockets. It has a Dupont Cordura water resistant
exterior, foam backed soft headliner interior, 9 clear Vinyl pockets and a Velcro latch.
